Removal and installation of power shafts

REMOVAL

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

At assemblage the nut, and also a replaceable nut of a coupling bolt of a spherical support of the bottom lever of a suspension bracket is required new ступичная.

1. Remove a decorative cap wheel dika/naves, then ослабьте ступичную a nut and nuts of fastening of a wheel.
2. Prop up wedges back wheels, cock a lay brake, then поддомкратьте redock of the car and establish it on props. Remove a corresponding forward wheel.
3. Merge трансмиссионное oil. Having replaced a sealing washer, screw a drain stopper картера РКПП on the regular place and tighten it with demanded effort.
4. On equipped ABS models remove with ступичной assemblages the wheel gauge (the Brake system see the Head).
5. Take шплинт, give a nut of the spherical hinge of steering draught and liberate the hinge from the rotary lever ступичной assemblages (the Suspension bracket and a steering see the Head).
6. Give ступичную a nut, remove a washer.

If to weaken ступичную a nut before car lifting over the earth it was not possible, screw into place and strongly tighten pair of bolts of fastening of a wheel. Ask the assistant to squeeze out firmly a foot brake in avoidance проворачивания naves, then ослабьте and turn out ступичный a bolt. Removed ступичная the nut is not subject to a reuse and at assemblage should be replaced without fail.

7. On the models equipped with the forward stabilizer of cross-section stability give a nut of fastening of a rack of a bar of the stabilizer on the bottom lever of a suspension bracket. Remove a washer and take the bottom rubber pillow of a support.
8. On all models give a nut of a coupling bolt of a spherical support of fastening of the bottom lever of a forward suspension bracket to ступичной to assemblage. By means of mount develop the lever, liberating the hinge from ступичной assemblages. On the models equipped with the stabilizer of cross-section stability try not to drop the top rubber pillow and a washer of a rack of fastening of a bar. The coupling bolt and its nut at assemblage are subject to replacement without fail.

9. Cautiously delay ступичную assemblage outside, removing it with шлицов an external SHRUS of a power shaft. In case of need the shaft can be beaten out from a nave by means of a hammer with soft the brisk. At once tie up the liberated shaft a wire to elements of a suspension bracket in order to avoid damage of the internal hinge and its protective cover.

10. Trying not to damage картер, accurately hook an internal SHRUS mount or the big screw-driver and liberate an internal pin of a shaft from differential assemblage.

11. Take a shaft from under the car (try not to damage a differential epiploon).

At all do not lower the car on the earth after removal of one or both power shafts. Such practice is fraught with failure of wheel bearings. If there is a necessity for car moving, temporarily insert the external end of a shaft (ов) into a nave of the wheel and fix its nut, then tie up the internal end a wire to suspension bracket elements.

In need of removal of both power shafts it is necessary to take care of fixing of one of lateral gear wheels in a differential box. Having removed the first of shaft, pass in an aperture in картере approaching on diameter (about 26 mm) a core, having passed it through an aperture in a gear wheel. The second end of a core leave freely acting of a box. If one or gear wheel fight will fall in assemblage, it is necessary to make transmission dismantling for their extraction.

INSTALLATION

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Before power shaft installation check up a condition of an epiploon of consolidation of its landing in картере differential. In case of need replace an epiploon (the Section Replacement of epiploons see).

Composers of the present Management recommend to make replacement of epiploons without dependence from their condition.

2. Having hooked a small screw-driver, remove from the end of an internal pin of a shaft a lock ring of fastening of the SHRUS and establish on its place new. Track correctness of landing of a ring in a flute.
3. Carefully wipe шлицевую a part of a pin and a surface of walls of an aperture in картере differential. With a thin layer of dense greasing grease sealing sponges of an epiploon, шлицы and a shaft coat hanger. Make sure of reliability of fixing by bandages of a rubber protective cover of the SHRUS.

4. Trying not to damage an epiploon, enter a shaft into gearing with шлицами naves of a lateral gear wheel of differential in a transmission. Push a shaft in a box against the stop and make sure of reliability of fixing by its lock ring. In case of need take advantage for landing of a shaft by a hammer with soft the brisk.

5. Level an external SHRUS and push its pin in ступичную assemblage. Establish a washer and screw ступичную a nut, having tightened it while only by hand.
6. The lever wring out downwards assemblage of the bottom lever of a suspension bracket, fill on the regular place a spherical support, then release the lever. Track, that шаровый the support finger has completely entered into the nest in a collar ступичной assemblages. Insert a coupling bolt, screw on it a nut and tighten it with demanded effort. On the models equipped with the stabilizer of cross-section stability, establish on assemblage of the bottom lever a rack of a bar of the stabilizer, having tracked correctness of landing of the top rubber pillow and a washer.
7. Where it is required establish into place the bottom rubber pillow and a washer of a rack of a bar of the stabilizer of cross-section stability, screw a nut and tighten it with demanded effort.
8. Fill in the rotary lever ступичной assemblages a tip of steering draught and fix its nut, strongly having tightened last. Fix a nut new шплинтом.
9. On the models equipped ABS, establish on a nave the wheel gauge (the Brake system see the Head).
10. Establish into place a wheel, lower the car on the earth and tighten wheel bolts with demanded effort.
11. Tighten with demanded effort ступичную a nut, then establish into place a decorative cap of a wheel disk/nave.
12 Fill in in a transmission necessary quantity трансмиссионного oils of a demanded grade.
