The general information


The system consists of executive valve EGR, the electromagnetic valve of management EGR, the block of management of a diesel engine and connecting vacuum hoses.

Valve EGR with the help фланцевого connections is fixed on the inlet pipeline. The second flange of the valve by means of a semifixed tube is connected to a final collector.

Electromagnetic valve/modulator EGR by means of an arm is fixed in a back part of an impellent compartment.

The control over system EGR functioning carries out the block of management of a diesel engine, also located in a back part of an impellent compartment, near to the relay of candles of heat. The management block activates system EGR only in a range of frequencies of rotation of the engine from 825 rpm to 3200 rpm. Out of limits of the stipulated range the system is disconnected.
System EGR switching-off is provided also within first two seconds from the moment of the acceleration beginning, and also at car movement at height over 1000 m above sea level.

Replacement of components

Valve EGR

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Disconnect a vacuum hose from the union in the top part of valve EGR.

2. Turn out bolts of fastening of the valve to a flange of the inlet pipeline. Remove and will throw out a sealing lining.
3. Turn out the coupling screw of a fixing collar and disconnect the valve from a semifixed tube going from a final collector. In case of need give fixing nuts and remove a semifixed tube from a final collector (do not forget to remove also a sealing lining).
4. Installation is made upside-down. Pay attention to following moments:

a) do not forget to replace a sealing lining фланцевого connection;
b) If removed a semifixed tube, replace also its sealing lining. Freely screw fixing bolts and, before to tighten from with demanded effort, make sure that the tube is not overwound and is not under loading.


Electromagnetic valve-modulator EGR

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Make sure that ignition is switched off, then disconnect from the valve electroconducting. Do not mix a socket of the valve with the located there and then and painted socket of the device of increase of turns of idling located there and then in grey colour.

2. Release collars and disconnect hoses from valve unions. Try to remember valve orientation in a path.
3. Installation is made upside-down.

Track correctness of connection of vacuum hoses. Infringement of functioning of system EGR conducts to decrease in efficiency of process of combustion of an air-fuel mix and increase of smoke content of an exhaust.
