Replacement of the fuel filter

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

Remember that gasoline is flying and in the higher measure an inflammable liquid - accept corresponding security measures.

1. Dump residual pressure in the power supply system.
2. The fuel filter is located behind under the car and at the left before a fuel tank. Access to the filter is very limited. Prop up wedges forward wheels of the car, then поддомкратьте a back of the car and establish it on props.

3. Give three fixing nuts...

... Also remove a thermofilter of system of release of the fulfilled gases.

4. Press special clamps entrance and target hoses of the fuel filter. Fuel remaining in the filter can be pumped out after a detachment of hoses. For gathering of spilt fuel prepare a rags stock.

5. Loosen the the screw of a collar of fastening of the filter.

6. Release fixing collars and disconnect from the filter hoses. Collars of spring type are standardly established at assemblage it is necessary to replace more practical screw or worm. Check up a condition of hoses, defective replace.

7. Before to take the filter, mark its adjusting position in relation to a direction of a stream of fuel. On the case of the new filter the stream direction is underlined an arrow. Remember that fuel giving is made from a petrol tank to the engine.
8. Establish the replaceable filter, having tracked correctness of its placing in relation to a direction of a stream of fuel.
9. Connect hoses and fix their new collars. Try not to admit hit of a dirt in fuel lines or filter unions. Tighten the screw of a collar of fastening of the filter and remove pressing clamp hoses.
10. Start the engine (procedure can take away slightly more than usual time since the new filter should be filled with fuel), allow to it to work some minutes, in parallel checking the filter and it штуцерные connections on presence of signs of leaks of fuel.
11. Establish into place a thermofilter of system of release of the fulfilled gases, then lower the car on the earth.

The filter removed from the car is subject to recycling in the order established by the regional legislation!
