1. Result the piston of the first cylinder in position ВМТ of the end of a step of compression. Remove the distributor with a tail (the engine Electric equipment see the Head).
2. Remove the generator (the engine Electric equipment see the Head).
3. Remove маслозаборник with the mesh filter and take gear wheels of the oil pump (see Has undressed Removal, check of a condition and installation of components of the oil pump).
4. In avoidance проворачивания a cranked shaft in process отдавания a bolt of its pulley, include the higher transfer and ask the assistant to squeeze out against the stop a pedal of a foot brake. If the engine is removed from the car, block a flywheel according to the instructions stated in Section Replacement of epiploons of a cranked shaft.

5. Give a bolt of a pulley of a cranked shaft, remove a washer and a pulley.

6. Turn out all fixture (bolts and screws) covers газораспределительной chains. Lower a cover downwards and remove it from the engine. Remove also a sealing lining - at assemblage it is subject to replacement without fail.

7. By means of a screw-driver with a flat sting unbend a tag of a lock washer of a bolt of fastening of an asterisk of a camshaft. In avoidance проворачивания a shaft in process отдавания a bolt fix it, having included the higher transfer and having asked the assistant to squeeze out against the stop a brake pedal. Alternatively, it is possible to take advantage of the elementary вильчатым блокиратором, made of two pieces of a metal strip and three nuts with bolts. One of bolts carries out a role of an axis of a plug of the tool, others two fasten to an asterisk.

8. Turn out a bolt of an asterisk of a camshaft,

Remove lock and тарельчатую washers (the first at assemblage is subject to replacement without fail). Remove from a camshaft pin a leading gear wheel of a drive of the distributor / the oil pump. Try to remember adjusting position of a gear wheel.

9. Before removal of a chain and asterisks try to remember a relative positioning of adjusting labels and шпонок cranked and distributive shaft.

10. Remove assemblage of a chain with asterisks from pins of cranked and distributive shaft.
11. Take from a groove in a pin of a cranked shaft segment шпонку (try to remember its adjusting position). If шпонка a camshaft it is freely planted in the groove, remove as well it. Postpone removed шпонки everyone to the asterisk.
12. Remove from a pin of a cranked shaft the adjusting washer directing the remote plug and an external persistent washer. Try to remember adjusting position of components.

1. Check up a condition of teeths of both asterisks of a chain. In case of revealing of wear tracks (сколы, the bent ends, the lost teeth, etc.), all assemblage in the complete set (the chain and both asterisks) is subject to replacement.
2. On size люфта at chain bending in a lateral direction estimate degree of deterioration of rollers. The new chain is almost absolutely rigid in a lateral plane.
3. The worn out chain is subject to replacement. Composers of the present Management recommend to make chain replacement through each 50 000 km (30 000 miles) run, and also at performance of major repairs of the engine, without dependence from its condition.
4. Basically performance of replacement of a chain separately from asterisks though composers of the present Management and consider such practice vicious as the economy can appear false is supposed.
5. Check up all other components on presence of signs of deterioration and mechanical damages. In case of need make corresponding replacements.

9. Carefully smooth out interfaced surfaces of a cover of a chain and the block of cylinders. Completely remove from surfaces all traces of oil and a material of an old lining. Estimate a condition of an epiploon of a cranked shaft in a cover. In case of need make replacement (the Section Replacement of epiploons of a cranked shaft see).

10. Put on directing pins of the block a new sealing lining of a cover of a chain. For lining fixing preliminary grease its inside консистентной with greasing.

11. Accurately putting on directing pins, press a chain cover to the block. Screw fixture (bolts and screws) and tighten it with demanded effort.

12. A sharp knife accurately cut off the acting part of a lining supporting limits of the interfaced surface of the pallet картера of the engine.

13. Correctly having developed rather шпонки, dress a pulley on a pin of a cranked shaft. Try not to damage an epiploon sponge. Screw a fixing bolt (do not forget about a washer) and tighten it, while only by hand.

14. Make sure of combination of internal and external uvulas of a persistent washer with reciprocal grooves in a cover of the right radical bearing. The washer should be densely planted in the nest.

15. Block a cranked shaft from проворачивания tighten a bolt of its pulley with demanded effort.
16. It is necessary to have in in view of that at wrong landing of persistent washers the bolt tightening can lead to their damage. Before to continue procedure performance, make sure of freedom of rotation of a cranked shaft.
17. Establish to the place of a gear wheel of the oil pump and маслозаборник with the mesh filter (see Has undressed Removal, check of a condition and installation of components of the oil pump), then establish the pallet картера (see Has undressed Removal and pallet installation картера the engine).
18. Establish the generator (the Head an engine Electric equipment).
19. At a corresponding complete set, establish the ignition distributor (the Head an engine Electric equipment).
