1. One of distinctive features of contactless systems of ignition is high stability once the exposed base advancing of ignition. While in service the car the initial corner practically does not change.
2. Necessity for adjustment of base installations arises after replacement of the distributor of ignition, a belt/chain or gear wheels/asterisks of drive ГРМ.
3. Check of installation of a corner of an advancing of ignition is made at occurrence of deviations in engine work, or at increase of the expense of fuel.
4. According to instructions of manufacturers connect a stroboscope. The plug of the inductive gauge of a stroboscope is connected to ВВ to a wire on the right. A food moves directly from plugs of the storage battery.
5. Start preliminary heated-up engine to normal working temperature and leave its working on single turns.
6. Direct a bunch of light developed by a stroboscope on a label on adjusting a pulley of a cranked shaft and an index scale on a cover of drive ГРМ. The general range of a scale is made 0 20 , by the division price - 5 . For simplification of reading “5 ” on a cover, and also a label on a pulley it is possible to allocate a label with a chalk or a white paint.
7. Base value of a corner of an advancing of ignition should lie in limits from 0 to 4 , otherwise it is necessary to muffle the engine and to weaken a bolt on the distributor case. Then again start the engine and, observing of labels highlighted by a stroboscope, achieve their correct combination by rotation of the case of the distributor (to avoid risk of reception of an electric shock, it is necessary to undertake only the metal case of the distributor, and at all for its cover). 8. Having finished adjustment, muffle the engine and strongly tighten a bolt on the distributor case, having tracked, that last casually has not appeared is displaced.

On equipped with systems of injection of fuel models the corner of an advancing of ignition is under constant control ECU of a control system of the engine. Manual adjustment is not provided and in case of need can be made only with application of the special electronic equipment.
