Such repair is usually carried out with application of the welding equipment and should be made in the conditions of a car-care centre workshop.

In case of extensive damages first of all it is necessary to check up, whether there were displacement and deformations кузовных the panels, capable to influence controllability of the car, or leaders to acceleration of deterioration any of its working components (for example, tyres).

Whereas the majority кузовных elements (a cowl, wings, etc.) are presented by separate sections, their restoration in case of serious damages is not represented expedient. More often it appears to find a suitable replaceable component much more reasonably and more economically, to find which it is possible not only in shops of automobile spare parts, but also on dismantlings or dumps that allows to cut down considerably at times expenses.

Replacement of forward wings

PERFORMANCE ORDER

Forward wings fasten to a skeleton of a body by means of eight bolts М6х16. Apertures under bolts in landing flanges of wings have the oval form, position of panels concerning associates кузовных elements allows to regulate hundred. Interfaced surfaces of landing flanges of wings become covered by hermetic.

REMOVAL

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Disconnect electroconducting going to the index of turn and antifog headlights (if those are established).
2. Remove a forward bumper (see Has undressed Removal and installation of a forward bumper).
3. Give one of two bolts М6 of fastening of a loop of the cowl, simultaneously used for wing fastening.
4. Turn out the remained seven fixing bolts.
5. Hooking a screw-driver, separate the top part covered from a body skeleton. Also separate the bottom part of the panel from a forward rack.

Hermetic can continue is strong enough to keep the panel already after отдавания fixture that is connected with risk of damage of the panel in the course of its dismantle. In view of told, wing removal should be made only in case of its really serious damage when a different way to eliminate defect is not available.

INSTALLATION

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Process a wing from the inside anticorrosive structure.
2. Smooth out interfaced surfaces of landing flanges, completely having removed from them traces of old hermetic.
3. Restore the broken factory anticorrosive covering.
4. Grease interfaced surfaces of landing flanges with a layer of fresh hermetic.
5. Establish a wing on the car and fix its bolts, yet without tightening the last it is definitive.
6. Close a cowl and forward doors then approximately check up similarity of backlashes between a wing and surrounding кузовными panels. In case of need make corresponding updating. If to achieve satisfactory result wing moving it is not possible, try to correct a cowl.
7. Strongly tighten all fixing bolts.
8. Establish into place the turn index.
9. Restore initial connection of electroconducting.
