Removal, installation and adjustment of a tension of a belt of a drive of auxiliary units

The general information

The auxiliary belt is used for a drive from a pulley of a cranked shaft of such devices, as the generator, steering and water pumps.

The multicostal auxiliary belt is equipped by the device of automatic adjustment

REMOVAL

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Park the car on an equal horizontal platform, cock a lay brake and prop up wedges back wheels. Release nuts of fastening of the right forward wheel.
2. Поддомкратьте redock of the car also establish it on props. Remove the right forward wheel.
3. Turn out fixing screws and uncover a belt.

4. Check up a belt on presence of factory directional markers of rotation. In case of need put corresponding marks independently.
5. A rozhkovym key on 15 mm develop a roller натяжителя counter-clockwise, overcoming effort of a spring.

6. Remove a belt from a generator pulley, then from other pulleys.

Installation and tension adjustment

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

At belt installation be guided on marks of a direction of its rotation.

1. Throw with a belt a pulley of a cranked shaft. Track that edges of a profile of a belt have taken places in the correct image in pulley streams.
2. Overcoming resistance of a spring, рожковым a key develop a roller натяжителя counter-clockwise.
3. Get a belt the flat party under a roller натяжителя, then put on it the remained pulleys. Track hit of edges in streams.
4. Having released a roller, allow it to pull a belt.
5. Establish into place a cover and strongly tighten screws of its fastening.
6. Establish a wheel, lower the car on the earth, then tighten bolts of fastening of a wheel with demanded effort.
