Removal, major repairs and installation of wheel cylinders of back brake mechanisms

REMOVAL

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Remove a brake drum (see Has undressed Removal, check of a condition and installation of drums of brake mechanisms of back wheels).
2. For the purpose of minimisation of losses of a brake liquid remove from tank GTTS a cover, then, having enclosed under it a polyethylene film, again screw on the mouth. The due hermetic sealing of the tank which are not allowing level of a liquid to fall excessively strongly at the expense of arising depression is thus reached. Alternatively, liquid losses can be reduced to a minimum by пережимания a special clip or a clamp of a flexible hose of the given brake mechanism.
3. Accurately disconnect the top coupling spring from both boots and remove it from the brake mechanism. Dissolve the top ends of boots in the parties, having disconnected them from pistons of the wheel cylinder.
4. Carefully wipe штуцерное connection of a brake tube with the back party of the wheel cylinder. Give накидную штуцерную a nut. Cautiously take away a tube from the cylinder and закупорьте its end for the purpose of hit prevention in dirt system. Traces of the spilt liquid at once collect rags.
5 Turn out fixing bolts from the back party of a brake board and remove the wheel cylinder - try not to splash out from it a brake liquid on frictional overlays of boots.


Major repairs

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. A brush remove from a surface of the wheel cylinder dirt and dust traces - not to inhale last put on a protective mask or a respirator.
2. Remove rubber dusterи from end faces of the case of the wheel cylinder.
3. Pistons are usually squeezed out of the cylinder at the expense of pushing out effort разжимной a screw spring. Otherwise, обстучите the case of the cylinder from an end face a hammer through wooden брусок, or pump up in the cylinder air under low pressure through the hydraulic union (for example, by means of the foot automobile pump).
4. Check up a condition of surfaces of pistons and cylinder mirrors. In case of detection of scratches, задиров or traces of contact of metals replace cylinder assemblage.

7. Dip pistons in a fresh brake liquid and insert into the cylinder разжимную a spring.
8. With Vrashchatelno-progress fill pistons in the cylinder.
9. Establish dusterи and check up freedom of a course of pistons in the cylinder.

INSTALLATION

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Make sure of cleanliness of interfaced surfaces of the wheel cylinder and a brake board. Dissolve in the parties boots and fill the cylinder on the regular place. Connect to the cylinder a brake tube and on one-two turn acquire накидную a nut штуцерного connection. Now screw bolts of fastening of the wheel cylinder and tighten them with demanded effort.
2. Definitively tighten накидную штуцерную a nut and remove a clip from a flexible brake hose/take a polyethylene film from under tank GTTS cover.
3. Make sure of correctness of placing of brake boots in pistons of the wheel cylinder. Establish the top coupling spring, having tracked correctness of its gearing on boots.
4. Establish to the place of a brake drum (see Has undressed Removal, check of a condition and installation of drums of brake mechanisms of back wheels).
5. Pump over hydraulic system (the Section Prorolling of hydraulic system see).

In a case if due measures on minimisation of losses of a brake liquid have been taken, will enough pump over only given concrete wheel cylinder.
