1. For the purpose of providing of access to a control lever a lay brake remove back section of the central console. On models without the console remove a decorative cover of the lever. The lever design is presented on an illustration.
2. Completely release counternuts, then, having weakened adjusting nuts, provide the maximum weak point both drivers cables. Take шплинт and liberate a plate of the equalizer from the lever.
3. Remove a lock ring of fixing of a rotary finger. Take a finger and remove assemblage of the lever from the car.

The worn out components of the ratchet mechanism can be replaced in an individual order.

1. Before installation make sure of correctness of placing of components of the ratchet mechanism. Slightly grease the mechanism and a nest under landing of an axial finger by universal greasing.
2. Get the lever on the regular place and insert an axial finger. Fix a finger a lock ring, having tracked correctness of its landing in the flute.
3. Connect to the lever a plate of the equalizer of a tension of cables and fix its new шплинтом.
4. Execute adjustment of a drive of a lay brake (the Section Adjustment of a lay brake see).
